ABSTRACT
The religious beliefs about the end of the world, the final judgment of the
people, the vindication of the just, the punishment of sinners by the Messiah
and His kingdom for one thousand years are the content of the heresy of
millenarianism. This heresy was based on the book of Revelation and especially
on chapter 20 and verses 1-10. The present thesis is an attempt to show how the
teaching of the millennial reign of Christ was created and what impact it had
on Christian communities in various periods. We refer to how the orthodox
Fathers interpreted this text of Revelation and how it was interpreted
incorrectly by some ecclesiastical writers. By this way the latter created
heresies. Then, we briefly refer to current heresies that profess the
millenarianism as something material before the Second Coming of Christ. We
analyze with many details the heresy of witness of Jehovah, mainly about its
teaching for a thousand years kingdom of God.
