ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly and globally affected health systems ,systems of
public administration , economic and political models , social behavior and ethics models
.The scale and the severity of the health crisis led to the enforcement of extreme health and
social and political measures . Approaching these measures based on the fundamentals
principles of Bioethics and Christian Ethics reveals the core of the ethical concern involved
in the criteria of making such decisions and in the overall imprint on individuals and society.
Bioethical dilemmas and concerns are examined and differences concerning pandemic
management approach are evaluated based on their ethical justification. Based on the
principles of Bioethics the main concern is the balance between the preservation of a
person’s autonomy and dignity and social justice and in terms of the law the balance between
individual rights and public interest. Based on the principles of Christian Ethics selfless love
and solidarity are the key for this difficulty and the morals that emanates from the relationship
between man and God leads man’s acts through this conjuncture.
